The Northwest Mountain Minority Supplier Development Council (NWMMSDC) recently hosted its 29th Annual Scholarship Fundraiser & Silent Auction at the Washington National Golf Club. The day brought together business leaders, community partners, and minority business enterprises (MBEs) who share a commitment to opportunity and growth.

A Day with Purpose

From the first tee-off to the final raffle, the day was filled with connection and good energy. Golfers enjoyed a friendly competition, caught up with colleagues, and met new faces. The silent auction and skill contests kept the day exciting, but the real win was the collective effort to make a difference.

Investing in the Next Generation of MBE Leaders

This year’s event raised over $15,000 for the MBE Scholarship Fund. Those funds will sponsor a minority business owner to attend the University of Washington’s Minority Business Executive Program (MBEP), an intensive experience that helps business leaders strengthen strategy, leadership, and long-term growth, as well as other development programs.

Each contribution goes directly toward creating opportunity. It’s an investment in people who are shaping stronger businesses and more inclusive communities across the region.

Looking Ahead

As we celebrate the success of this year’s event, we’re already looking forward to next year’s 30th Annual Scholarship Fundraiser & Silent Auction. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this year’s event a success. Together, we’re driving opportunities, building community, and creating lasting impact for minority-owned businesses across the northwest mountain region.
