30th Annual Scholarship Fundraiser!
Wednesday, August 26, 2026 | Washington National Golf Club | Auburn, Washington
Every swing counts. Join us for the Northwest Mountain MSDC’s 30th Annual Scholarship Fundraiser: a day where business, community, and a little friendly competition come together for something bigger than a great round of golf.
Why It Matters
The funds raised at this event directly support the NWMMSDC’s scholarship program — sending minority business executives to programs like the University of Washington Foster School of Business Minority Business Executive Program.
These aren’t just scholarships. They are game-changers for business owners who are building legacies, creating jobs, and strengthening communities across our region.
In 2025 alone, the golf tournament raised over $10,000 toward MBE development. Help us beat that in 2026.

Tournament Rules
Progressive Scramble
Format: We will utilize a shotgun start; each team will be directed to their assigned starting hole. This will be a 4 person scramble utilizing the progressive tee format. Each player hits a drive from the tee and the team selects the best shot. Each player will then play the next shot from the position of the selected ball, placing their ball within one standard club length from that spot, keeping the condition consistent (i.e. if the ball is in the rough the team must play from the rough). The same procedure is used on all shots until the ball is holed out. On the green each player must place their ball as near to the original spot as possible. Each player must use 2 drives, par 3’s count. If your team makes a Birdie on a hole you’ll move back a set of tees, and so on until you reach the black tees. If you make a bogey you’ll move forward a set of tees. If you par, you stay on the same tees. If your group has only 3 players, one player will hit twice for the entire hole, rotating to a different player each hole and keeping the rotation consistent.
Tees: Ladies will start play from the red tee markers and men will start play from the white tee markers.
Pace of Play: The pace of play shall be 4 hours 30 minutes or 15 minutes per hole. The number of putts on the green will be limited to 2 maximum. If a group is considered to be out of position and are unable to maintain pace requirements they will be moved into position by skipping a hole. If a group skips a hole, that group should record a par for that hole.
Ties: Ties will be determined by the team with the best score on the hardest handicapped holes.
*Please keep up with the group in front of you.
